The raw coal treated by Daoqing Coal Preparation Co. Ltd. is a kind of soft coal coming from the Daoqing hydromine. Because of the high degree of size diminution, the raw coal contains a rising proportion of ＜ 0.5 mm fine coal, causing, as a result, the corresponding increase of the proportion of ＜ 0.5 mm coal in clean coal product. Moreover, as the clean coal product always maintains a high level of moisture, it is difficult to have it outloaded in winter, and the idle transportation of the product is seen to be increased. To address the issue, a series of measures have been adopted for the drastic reform of all the aspects starting from coal cleaning technology down to plant management over a period of one year. Through the renovation work, the moisture of clean coal is reduced by 2%, creating a favorable result in technological, economical and managerial aspects.
