    Experimental study on flotation of the high-ash fine slime of Tunlan Coal Preparation Plant

    • Flotation of the plant′s high-ash fine slime is difficult in process and low in efficiency. To address this issue, test is made on flotation of this material using different types of frothers, collectors and inhibitors, so as to explore the optimal dosages of agents and the combined effect of different agents that can be obtained. Test result shows that: the use of properly dosed agents can help improve flotation result; the depressing agent can exert the greatest influence on yield of flotation concentrate; and when use is made of sec.-capryl alcohol, kerosene and sodium silicate at dosages of 80 g/t, 400 g/t and 60 g/t respectively, a best result can be expected with a recovery of combustible matters reaching 88.22% and a flotation perfect index of 61.76%.
