    Numerical simulation and optimum design of the crossbeam of the ZK3648 vibrating screen

    • Vibrating screen is widely used in coal preparation sector. The structural design of the crossbeam, a key part of vibrating screen, has a great bearing on the working performance of the equipment. For ensuring the stability of the ZK3648 screen in operation, optimum design of the crossbeams in different structural forms is made by using numerical simulation method. Based on the result of analysis and comparison of the simulated static and dynamic characteristics of the cross beams in varying structural forms, and considering the cost-effectiveness and maintenance convenience of the reformed crossbeam, the beam in structural form 4# designed by principle of equal bending modulus of cross-beam section of screen is regarded as the one with the most optimal structural design. The study made in the paper may serve as a guidance for optimization of design of crossbeam of vibrating screen.
