A study of the flotation equipment in common use in coal preparation plant

Flotation is an effective fine coal separation process and also an important integral part of coal cleaning process in coal preparation plant. The selection of flotation equipment has a great bearing on performance of flotation process. Three types of flotation machines which are commonly used are introduced, and the mechanism of aeration of each kind of flotation cell is analyzed. The study made may serve as a reference for selection of flotation machine and optimization of operating system of flotation.
