Practice on optimization of performance of flotation system of Shiban Coal Preparation & Power Plant

In view of the current status and the problems confronted by the flotation system of Shiban Plant, a study on technical renovation of the system is made. The technical measures adopted include introduction of automatic reagent dosing system, improvement of flotation process and optimization of concentrate filtration performance. The renovation work has led to increase of yield of concentrate product, reduction of consumption of agents and improvement of flotation performance and hence economic result.
