Exploration of the issues concerning the heavy medium shallow-bath coal separator

Following an introduction to the state-of-the-art of the development of the shallow-bath heavy medium separator in China′s coal preparation industry, the author goes to discuss and analyze several salient factors in design, manufacture and field commissioning of the separator from the perspectives of raw coal property, separation principle and mechanical performance. It is pointed out finally the personalized design and intelligentization of the separator is the future development direction.
