    Characterization design of operating parameters of vibrating screen based on the principle of persistence of vision

    • During the long-term operation of the vibrating screen in coal preparation plant, the screen is often seen to operate with varied vibration amplitude and angle. And the deficiency of monitoring means makes it difficult to monitor the operating parameters of the screen on a real-time basis. As a result, the screen is often rendered unable to achieve the expected screening result largely because of the drop in capacity and efficiency, and this may lead to sometimes even breaking of tubular beam and framework of the screen. To address the problems, characterization design of screen operating parameters is developed according to the principle of persistence of vision through repeated field test. With the use of the design mode, the operating parameters of the vibrating screen can be characterized in an accurate and real-time manner. The study made in the paper may provide a technical support for ensuring the normal operation and facilitating the routine maintenance of the vibrating screen in coal preparation plant.
