    Experimental study on the influencing factors involved in measurement of volatile matter content of coal

    • In order to eliminate the error in measurement of volatile matter content of coal, an important indicator of cleaned coking coal product, test is made on control of such variables as tightness of crucible and muffle furnace, reaction time and temperature. Based on analysis of the data obtained through experiment, the factors affecting the accuracy of measured volatile matter content value are finally determined. The study result is of important reference value for laboratory analysis of volatile matter content of coal.
