Application of the building information management (BIM) technology in design of coal preparation plant

With an aim to promote the application of BIM technology in design of coal preparation plant, the author presents a brief account of the application and special features of the BIM technology in design of a coal preparation plant during its feasibility study, preliminary design and construction document-design phases. Based on the present status in the use of the BIM technology in coal preparation plant design, the author points out the problems restricting the development of the technology and its developing trend.
