Renovation and optimization of the medium recovery system of Ronghui Coal Preparation Plant

In order to achieve the goal of reducing medium consumption and operating costs, improving product quality and coal washing efficiency, the plant′s medium recovery system is optimized through making reform of coal blending and medium adding modes, magnetic separator, sieve bend, flow divider, and change of size of magnetite powder. Practice shows that with the use of the highly effective medium recovery system developed, the medium consumption is dramatically reduced from 2.20 kg/t to 1.00 kg/t.
