    Study on optimization of wet sticky raw coal sizing screen deck

    • The raw coal sizing screen is low in efficiency due to severe plugging of screen deck. To tackle this problem, the mine′s coal preparation plant conducted a technical survey of the sizing screens in common use. By incorporating the structural features of the multi—section multi-angle banana screen and based on result of comparison and trial use of 5 different screen decks-stainless roll screen deck, MDA ant-plugging deck, rippled self-cleaning deck, etc., an optimum screen deck of composite structure is specifically developed by the plant for sizing the 13 mm wet and sticky raw coal, according to the property of the raw coal treated. The use of the screen deck has led to effective elimination of plugging of deck and increase of sizing efficiency by 10~15 percentage points.
