    Analysis of the effects obtained in dry screening of the coal at a size of 3 mm with flip-flop screen at Liujiakou Coal Preparation Plant

    • Flip-flop screen can work with ultrahigh material throwing, anti-clogging and adhesion-proof capabilities thanks to its unique structural features, and is especially suitable for use in fine material screening process. A systematic assessment of the performance of the flip-flop screen in dry screening of coal at a size of 3 mm at Liujiakou Coal Preparation Plant is made according to the national standard Coal Sizing Equipment Performance Evaluation Method. Result of evaluation shows that when used for treating a feed having a surface moisture not exceeding 6%, the screen can work with a screening efficiency of over 70%, well demonstrating its ability to fully meet the requirements for making coal in-depth upgrading, quality grading and sizing operations.
