A brief overview of the research and development of the jet flotation cell in China

The paper presents a brief overview of the course of development of the jet flotation machine over the past half a century in China.Starting from a mere imitation of the cyclo-cell of the U.S., the development of China's jet flotation machine has gone through 3 stages, and through the processes, the first, second and third-generation versions have successively made debut.In recent years, the machine has found successful application in 3 coal washeries in the U.S.An analysis is made of the principle based on which to make scale-up of the machine.Finally, the aerated mixing and flotation performance indices are introduced by citing the FJCA36 version as an example.
