    Technical reform of the coarse slime recovery process of Yongming Mine Coal Preparation Plant

    • In order to tackle the problems encountered in operation of the coarse slime recovery process, sieve and rapid float-and-sink analysis is conducted with coal sample by the plant, with an aim to find out the factors causing the difficulties in flotation of the coarse slime through analysis of coal property. Based on result of analysis, a coarse slime recovery process featuring the use of the thickening-classifying cyclone and 3-mass compound high-frequency dewatering screen is applied. The use of the process has led to elimination of the difficulty in recovery of the coarse slime which is difficult to float and liable to undergo degradation in water, as well as reduction of ash and increase of yield of concentrate, bringing about therefore a favorable economic benefit for the plant.
