    Design of the 3-axis accelerometer-based vibrating screen motion state information acquisition device

    • A vibrating screen motion state information acquisition device is developed for effective detection of the operation state of the screen and providing for operation and maintenance reliable related parameters. The device operates with the ADXL 345chip to measure the acceleration of the screen in X, Y, Z three directions and the data acquired is then transmitted to ATMEL 328chip via LLC bus. The TTL level is converted into ZigBee to transmit to CC2530 using serial port transmission technology. Through analysis of the acceleration data by the central computer with VISA module function of LABVIEW software, and through both high and low pass filtering and two times integration, the data relating to amplitude, frequency, angle of direction and off-wobbling of the screen is obtained. Result of laboratory test shows with the use of the method, the running state of vibrating screen can be detected in a rapid and accurate manner, which plays a key role in early warning of fault of vibrating screen.
