Exploration of the influence of cyclone’s feed inlet structure on its flow field

In order to explore the influence of cyclone’s feed inlet structure on the internal flow field of the cyclone, study and analysis are conducted on the pressure, and velocity inside the cyclone fitted with two different designs of feed inlets, as well as the features of each kind of feed inlet, using simulation software. The advantages and disadvantages of the two feed inlet structures and the direction in which improvements should be further made are made known. The study provides a theoretical and technical support for the research and development of the cyclone of novel structural design.
