    R&D and Application of the new-type unpowered dust collection system

    • Massive flying of dust is inevitably produced during the process of transfer of coal flow and especially at the points with large coal dropping height and more coal falling points in coal preparation plants. For reducing the dust concentration at these points and improving the occupational health level, a new-type unpowered dust collection system is developed and applied for the 231# and 356# belt conveyors where flying of dust is more difficult to control. Practice shows the use of the dust collection system has led to drastic reduction of dust concentration, power consumption and operating costs, making it possible to realize effective dust control.
