    Design and application of the automatic-monitoring mobile material-dividing chute

    • The trouble facing Hanjiawan Coal Preparation Plant is that the blending of cake product of filter press with clean small coal gives rise to a series of product quality and marketing credit-related problems. To address this issue, a mobile material-dividing chute with automatic detection function is developed. The chute can enable the filter cake product and clean small coal to be transferred separately using its gearing mechanism linking with other equipment. A description is made of the design and working principle of the chute as well as the evaluation of its performance in practical application. Field application of the chute shows that only limited initial capital is required thanks to the possibility to make full use of the existing equipment and different coal products can be delivered separately and continuously in an efficient and reliable manner. The chute developed offers a new scheme for separate conveyance of coal products in coal preparation plants.
