Practice of high-efficiency dewatering of flotation concentrate in Luling Branch of Huaibei Coal Preparation Plant

To address the issue of the difficulty in moisture reduction of flotation concentrate, work is made by the Luling Branch on improvement of the existing dewatering equipment through optimization of their working and structural parameters, and adjustment of the capacities of both the primary and secondary flotation processes, in line with the actual operating conditions of the plant. Through the renovation, the moisture of flotation concentrate has seen a drop by 3.85~5.35 percentage points, making it possible for the plant to improve its economic performance, ensure the sales of clean coal product and reduce environmental pollution.
