Analysis and suggestions on coal preparation-related national standards

Many and various problems are found with the coal preparation-related standard system: diverse technical committees getting involved in standard formulation work: no competent authorities in charge of doing overall planning and design; inability to get internationalized or gain global recognition; formulation or revision of standards not timely made; inadequate involvement of coal enterprises in standard drafting work; lack of specialized personnel; and the promulgation and required implementation of formulated standards not made well known. Following a summary and classification of the coal preparation-related national standards currently in effect, and an analysis of the present state in the building of the current standard system, the appropriate countermeasures that should be taken in the future are proposed. It is suggested to accord greater importance to the building of standard system to enable coal preparation plants to improve and upgrade coal washing technology and efficiency and realize technical transformation.
