Analysis of the factors influencing the power consumption of coal preparation plants and countermeasures

The standard GB 29446—2019 《The Norm of the Coal Consumption of Coal Washing》 was put into force on July 1, 2020. In order to realize energy conservation and cut down power consumption of coal preparation plants and meet the standard-specified power consumption norm, an analysis is made of the main factors influencing the consumption of power and the countermeasures which should appropriately adopted from the plant design, operation and management aspects. It is aimed to enable coal preparation plants to reduce operating costs, upgrade process equipment and plant design, and enhance the technical level in operation management, so as to make due contributions to reach the goal of realizing carbon neutrality prior to 2030.
