    Technical transformation of the coal slurry water system of Yongming Coal Preparation Plant

    • For tackling the problems regarding the high moisture of coal slime and excessively long working cycle of the filter pressing system, technical reform of the existing slurry water treatment system is made by Yongming Mine Coal Preparation Plant by taking the following two approaches: splitting the slurry flow to allow the filter press system to treat two separate feed materials to produce two different slime products, and replacing the existing filter presses with introduced ultrahigh-pressure ones. XRD analysis of the cake products obtained before and after the technical reform indicates that the moisture of the slime product is reduced to a level as low as 15.40%, and its calorific value goes up from 4 MJ/kg to 11 MJ/kg, well meeting the requirement of users, yielding as a result a favorable economic result for the plant.
