    Study and application of wet and sticky coal pneumatic cleaning technology

    • To tackle the problems encountered in the use of the existing wet sticky coal pneumatic cleaning technology, optimum design is made of the driving mechanism, screen deck and associated dust collection system of the dry cleaning machine for treating a feed with a moisture content increased from 11% to 14%. The <25 mm small coal cleaning process of Selian No. 1 Coal Mine Washery is then renovated with the use of the optimized pneumatic cleaning machine.Results of study and field application show that dry cleaning of the <25 mm small coal can lead to an increase of its calorific value by 3.53 MJ/kg, ease of the heavy workload of the coal slime water treatment system in previously applied coal cleaning process, and rise of treating capacity of the plant.
