    Analytical study of the properties and compatibleness of the clean lean coal products of different separation systems

    • In order to explore the compatibleness of the clean lean coal products of different separation systems, routine analysis of the property and petrographic composition of the different products and testing on coking with blended coal are conducted at the coal preparation plant of Shanxi Qinxin Energy Group Co. Ltd. Study results show that the clean products of the three different separation systems differ widely in property and compatibleness; due to the difference in degree of separation, ash enrichment and fragmentation of organic phase of coal and rock, the clean coarse slime has a lower ash content and a higher caking index as compared with those of the other products; and because of the combined effects of ash content, caking index and the ratio of active and inertia petrographic components, the clean coarse slime and jig's clean coal product exhibit the best compatibleness among the others. The result of study made in the paper has a positive guiding significance for coal preparation and purchase of clean coking coal.
