    Study on optimization of coal flotation agent emulsification parameters

    • For improving coal slime flotation efficiency, cutting consumption of agents and control of equipment input energy, an comparative analysis is made on the effect of agents emulsification and dispersion on ash of flotation concentration and recovery of combustible matter by means of high-speed dynamic analysis system and a single-cell flotation machine. Result of analysis shows that an optimum emulsification result can be expected at an agitating speed of 1 900 r/min and an oil-water ratio of 2∶1, and in this case, there can be seen a decrease of concentrate ash by 2.81 percentage points and a rise of recovery of combustible matter by 4.83 percentage points. The study results provide a theoretical guidance for reduction of consumption of agents and energy input in field operation of flotation systems, which may help create more social and economic benefits and reduce carbon emissions.
