    Experimental study on upgrading of gasification slag through classification and separation

    • For realizing comprehensive utilization of gasification slag, less occupation of land area and reduction of environmental pollution, test is made on upgrading of the slag using high-efficiency fine sizing screen and spiral separator. Test results show that the screen can work remarkably well with an overall efficiency of 82.58% and on ash and yield of the screen′s oversize material being 32.96% and 41.18% respectively; the spiral separator is well fit for treating the > 0.125 mm feed, and the ash of cleaned product can be reduced to 22.35%. It is proposed that in future industrial operation, the use of a combined process made up by spiral separator plus high-efficiency sizing screen can be considered.
