    Application of the ultrasonic online particle size analyzer at Shuiyu Coal Preparation Plant

    • The problems with the use of the traditional methods for detection of particle size and concentration of coal slime are poor representativeness of samples, long detection process and high labor intensity. To tackle the problems, Shuiyu Coal Preparation Plant opts for the use of the DF-CPSM ultrasonic online analyzer. Field application shows that the concentration detection error is less than 10 g/L and the particle size detection error is less than 2%, indicating that the analyzer can work reliably with an accuracy well up to the required level. Its successful use may serve as an effective reference for the operation of flotation process, and proves to be an important technical guarantee for the development of intelligent coal preparation plant.
