Analysis of the effects obtained through dry cleaning of small coal at Selian No.1 Mine's Coal Preparation Plant

The problems faced by Selian No.1 Mine's Coal Preparation Plant after expansion of mining capacity are insufficiency in screening capacity, and high ash content and low calorific value of clean coal product due to untreatment of the < 13 mm raw coal. To tackle the problems, more sizing screens are used and a new workshop for dry cleaning of the < 13 mm raw coal is added. Practice shows that after the renovation work, the plant can operate with the required sizing capacity and the < 13 mm clean coal can attain the calorific value required by users, making it possible for the enterprise to gain a noticeable increase of economic revenues.
