Feasibility analysis on production of coking coal and coal washing process transformation practice at Baode Coal Preparation Plant

With an aim to further raise the value of the commercial coal product, work is made by Baode Coal Preparation Plant in the light of the specific characteristics and property of the raw coal on feasibility analysis of production of coking coal and systematic transformation of washing processes, in a bid to break the bottleneck of being unable to directly produce coking coal by using the existing washing system operating with a single separating density. Through the use of the primary plus secondary washing process with pressure-fed 2-product heavy medium cyclone, it is made possible to shift the washing process capable of producing power coal only to a coking coal and power coal combined washing process. The industrial application of the latter process provides a new approach for the rise of profits and has yielded a noticeably favorable economic result for the plant.
