    Study and application of the flotation tailings in-depth clean process

    • In order to improve the recovery of flotation tailings for all size and realize recovery and comprehensive utilization of fine coal, work is made on recleaning of the flotation tailings from the waste heap using the single-stage closed-circuit grinding plus closed-circuit flotation process. Study results show that through reconcentration of the tailings containing around 50% of high-ash fines with the one roughing+three cleaning+two scavenging flotation processes, a flotation concentrate with an ash of ≤ 12.00% and a yield of 35%~40% can be obtained while the ash of the tailings can reach over 80%.
