    Study of the heavy medium cyclone damage dynamic monitoring and diagnosis system

    • In order to enhance the intelligent level and further extend the service life of heavy medium cyclone, a cyclone damage dynamic monitoring and diagnosis system is preliminarily designed and the conception of the system and it's structural design method are proposed, based on analysis of the operating mode of the cyclone and the mechanisms of its different types of damage. The characteristics of the vibration signal under different damage conditions are investigated, so as to make it possible to realize realize real-time monitoring of cyclone's overall running status, promptly send feedback at the time when alarm of any sign of damage is issued, and greatly reduce economic loss and routine maintenance expenses incurred by damage of cyclone. The dynamic monitoring and diagnosis system plays an important part in intelligent upgrading of heavy medium cyclone. The study made in the paper may provide a valuable reference for the development of the equipment monitoring and signal feedback systems in intelligent coal preparation plant int the future.
