Development process and future outlook of the high efficiency energy-efficient packaged heavy medium cyclone coal separation technologies

The paper presents a general review of the course of development of the heavy medium cyclone coal preparation technologies in China and the major breakthroughs made in these technologies, with the focus particularly placed on the development process of the highly efficient and energy-efficient packaged technologies in this respect, namely, the Guohua Technology Company′s Packaged Coal Preparation Technology, for providing a reference for coal preparation plants to improve coal washing efficiency, upgrade clean products and reduce energy consumption. Lastly, the suggestions on expansion of the use of this technology in coal preparation plants are put forward.
